Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens (Sat. Jan. 20, 4:30pm EST)
Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers (Sat. Jan. 20, 8:15pm EST)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions (Sun. Jan. 21, 3:00pm EST)
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills (Sun. Jan. 21, 6:30pm EST)
Betting opportunities abound. What will you bet?
Well the answer as always is it depends. We make your decision a little easier with the analysis below:
Houston Texans vs. Baltimore Ravens (Sat. Jan. 20, 4:30pm EST)
Spread: -9.5 Baltimore (-110)
Moneyline: Houston: +325 Baltimore: -435
Over/Under: 43.5 (-110)
Parlay:
C.J. Stroud Over 243.5 passing yards
Texans +9.5
Over 43.5
The over might seem counter intuitive, but even with Baltimore’s vaunted defense, we think CJ Stroud will be able to move the ball on the ravens.
Despite their poor performance overall, the 49ers did put up significant yardage on Baltimore.
This could end up turning into a shoot out.
Ultimately, the Ravens will prevail. But we think the Texans will cover with their fiery passing attack.
Green Bay Packers vs. San Francisco 49ers (Sat. Jan. 20, 8:15pm EST)
Spread: -9.5 San Francisco (-115)
Moneyline: Houston: +350 Baltimore: -480
Over/Under: 50.5, Over - 115, Under - 105
Parlay:
Brandon Aiyuk Over 67.5 receiving yards
49ers HT/FT
Over 50.5
Jaire Alexander is questionable with an ankle issue, and he would be expected to cover Aiyuk.
We feel the 49ers will lead this one all the way.
If this was a fair weather game, the Over bet would be a no brainer. However, it is supposed to rain through kickoff. The conditions should not be extreme however, and we feel the Over holds.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions (Sun. Jan. 21, 3:00pm EST)
Spread: -6.5 Detroit (-105)
Moneyline: Tampa Bay: +235 Detroit: -285
Over/Under: 49.0, Over - 115, Under - 105
Parlay:
Over 48.5
Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 89.5 receiving yards
Baker Mayfield Over 255.5 passing yards
St. Brown of the Detroit Lions has been highly consistent, earning first-team All-Pro honors and achieving over 90 receiving yards in most recent games.
The Buccaneers have struggled against top receivers, with 11 different WRs reaching over 90 yards against them, including St. Brown who previously recorded 124 yards in their last encounter.
Detroit's pass defense has deteriorated, allowing significant passing yards in recent games, while QB Mayfield has been performing strongly with over 280 yards in most of his recent matches.
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills (Sun. Jan. 21, 6:30pm EST)
Spread: -2.5 Buffalo (-120)
Moneyline: Kansas City: +130 Buffalo: -150
Over/Under: 45.5, Over - 110, Under - 110
Parlay:
Josh Allen Over 1.5 passing TDs
Patrick Mahomes Over 1.5 passing TDs
Travis Kelce anytime TD
Is there any way the above isn’t a lock? You can find this on FanDuel and lock in your odds at +385.
NBA Parlays (Fri. Jan. 19)
Here is the lineup for the games tonight:
San Antonio at Charlotte, 7 p.m. ET
Philadelphia at Orlando, 7 p.m. ET
Denver at Boston, 7:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Atlanta at Miami, 8 p.m. ET
Phoenix at New Orleans, 8 p.m. ET
Dallas at Golden State, 10 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Indiana at Portland, 10 p.m. ET
Brooklyn at LA Lakers, 10:30 p.m. ET
Parlay:
Boston ATS
Dallas / Golden State OVER
LA Lakers ATS
Our thoughts:
The Celtics, undefeated at home and leading the NBA, face the road-challenged Denver Nuggets.
The Mavericks and Warriors, known for high-scoring games, face uncertainty with Luka Doncic's injury status.
The Lakers, adjusting their lineup for improved performance, view the Nets as an obstacle in their path to success.
NCAA College Basketball (Fri. Jan. 19)
College hoops are back in full swing.
Here are the odds:
Some picks, and stack them for some parlays:
Georgetown vs. Xavier:
Georgetown +13
Georgetown +610
Under 148.5 -105
Xavier is more likely to win, but the odds here are too good to pass up to take a flyer on Georgetown. And our models show that they are the better pick here.
